■「Could not get metalink」というメールが届く
複数のサーバから、以下のようなメールが届いた
/etc/cron.hourly/0yum-hourly.cron: Could not get metalink https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=epel-7&arch=x86_64 error was 12: Timeout on https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=epel-7&arch=x86_64: (28, 'Connection timed out after 5000 milliseconds')
EPELリポジトリにアクセスしようとしてタイムアウトになっている 大元のサーバが不安定なだけの可能性はあるので様子見とした 以下は直接の原因では無いが、参考にはなりそう yumでepel使った時、「Could not get metalink https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=epel-7&arch=x86_64」って怒られたもんで - Opensourcetechブログ https://www.opensourcetech.tokyo/entry/20200529/1590737497
